Description: Dom has always been very particular about how he looks. If a lock of his brown hair is out of place, he will feel a great need to fix it. His dress shirts need to be tucked in just so, and his tie needs to be precisely knotted and straight or he will feel very out of place. His eyes match his hair in color, and are always searching for anything that is a bit out of the ordinary. He is inquisitive by nature, which can both be a curse and a blessing. Dom is not abnormally tall or short, but normal height for someone of his age. He doesn’t consider himself to be particularly good looking, but does his best with what he has. He personally believes that if he is orderly on the outside, than he’ll be orderly internally as well.

Overall Personality: Domitius, who prefers to go by Dom is quite controlling by nature. If you’re just meeting him for the first couple of times he can be quite charming and articulate. If you get to know him better, you will see that he is often moody and can become quite testy. When he’s in these little moods, he will always be searching for a fight. This is more for him to prove to himself that he is not only an intellectual, but also brawny. Though many times this has backfired, and he ended up in some serious fights that landed him a few days in the infirmary. Though his mood swings have calmed down quite a bit since 5th year when he made it onto the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as a beater. He takes much of his anger and frustration out on the field rather than randomly targeting his peers.
Dom is insanely protective of his two younger brothers. Neither of them seems to appreciate this, but it doesn’t stop him nonetheless. Many of his friends seem to think the world of Hogwarts, as if nothing too bad could ever happen there. Dom however sees it quite differently. Half-bloods are forced to choose a side, and no matter what side is pick there will always be someone out there who thinks you are wrong. This is the case when you decide to go against the pureblood side of one’s family.

Overall History:
Domitius was born June 1st, 1959. According to his mother, it was a rather stormy morning with intense rain and thunder. He was never quite she why she felt the need to tell him this, but she did every year until he left for Hogwarts. Before he received his letter, his life was rather ‘normal’ by most standards. He was born to a muggleborn father Gaius and a pureblood mother named Agatha Meliflua. The first few years of his life were simple. They lived mostly as muggles in a small village and the family grew from three to five over a few short years. When the three boys attended Muggle School, they were told that they needed to keep their magic a secret. But for Dom this was very difficult. His short-temper lead to accidental magic and it frightened most of his muggle peers and made him an outcast.
When his mother realized that, he was having a problem with this she thought it would be a good idea to get the family involved with their other side of the family. At first Dom was very excited. He had very little interaction with the magical community. And it was easy to see that his brothers were just as excited. But for him that excitement quickly faded. His mother’s side of the family was very judgmental. And his other cousins weren’t very friendly at all. He was often teased for being half-blood and at such a young age, he wasn’t sure why it was a bad thing. After the first visit, Dom asked his father, why being a half-blood was considered wrong, and Gaius explained that the prejudice against muggleborns and half-bloods. Dom didn’t understand why it was such a big deal. Magic was magic no matter if you were pure or not.
From that, point on his parents had regular fights about whether it was a good idea for the children to be associating with the pureblood side of the family. But no matter what was said, they would continue to visit not matter how unwanted they were there. Dom quickly decided what side of the divide he wanted to be on, and often would get into fights with some of his cousins. It seemed like not matter what he did he always ended up in a fight with someone. At his muggle school, he was considered a freak, and with his other side of the family, he was a freak. He could never receive a break.
But during the summer of his 11th birthday, he received a welcome letter to Hogwarts. He was unbelievable eager to attend. Even though he had been to Diagon Alley many times in the past, this time he would be able to get his own wand [Dragon heartstring, 12.5” flexible, good for charms, apple wood] along with his other school supplies. Dom eagerly road the Hogwarts Express to the school with many other students, and was sorted with the other first years. He was glad to be sorted in Ravenclaw and would of hated being stuck in either Gryffindor or Slytherin. He found his fit there, and many of his peers share his interest in learning.

It was the first day of his sixth year. He arose early and dressed in his new uniform taking plenty of time to make sure he was properly sorted before heading down to the Great Hall for his morning breakfast. As he made his way through the corridors he realized that it still had to be fairly early. The corridors were bare and showed very little signs of life. Some of the students who were already in the hall were still wearing their nightclothes. He couldn’t help but turn his nose up at them.
He sat by himself at the far end of the Ravenclaw table. Subconsciously piling an absurd about of food onto his plate. A few places down from him he saw a wrinkled newspaper and summoned it. He happened to look up and see one of his teachers raise a brow at him. He knew they were not allowed to do magic outside of classes, but it didn’t stop them from doing it anyways. Most people were generally very careful not to do it in front of the teachers. Doing so would lead to detention or points being taken away from that particular house. And as it was the first day of school Dom didn’t want either of those to happen.
He was thankful with the Professor focused back on his own meal and Dom gave a sigh of relief. It would be beneficial if he were more observant at times. He didn’t need to get caught doing magic outside of class. He didn’t want his sixth year to be filled up with detentions like the previous year. Though not all of those were from doing magic outside of class. Many were from being in fights or being a smart-aleck at inopportune times.
