Lily grabbed her bag off her bed and started down the stairs and out the portrait. Walking through the halls, she smiled at anyone she knew as she passed them. Finally she reached the library and set her bag down on the table. After all her procrastinating she had finally settled on a day to do her homework and this time she was not going to flake out. She opened her bag, staring at the contents as if they were going to reach out and bite her. At last, she pulled out her first sheet of parchment and sighed, deciding to work on her charms first. She got up quickly, looking through the bookshelves for the perfect book to help her. She finally found one and took it back to her seat and began to read, yet soon after she had fallen asleep.
Lily walked through the streets, looking through shop windows, staring at the people within. There was an ominous feeling in the air and she feels worried.
Someone approaches her and asks her to take his hand. She says no but he insists. She reluctantly offers her hand and he takes it in his large, calloused hands.
"Run my child," he says after a long pause. "Run far, far away."
And then he turns and walks away.
Lily looks after him confused. Why would he tell her to run? What is so dangerous? Then she hears the sound.
It starts quiet, the sound of a far off hive of bees but grows louder with every minute. Then she sees the source. A large, smoking plane. It's falling, falling to-wards the earth. Everything goes black.
Lily woke up with a start and shook off the residue of her dream. It was just a dream.
Deciding that charms wasn't going to work out as well as she thought, she quickly got up to get a book for her extra credit assignment in potions, one of her favorite classes. She didn't need the credit but loved to do the assignment anyway. As she walked through the shelves of books, she hummed quietly to herself. Distracted by the sight of so many books and reading their titles, she didn't notice that someone had rounded the corner and as she turned around she ran right into them.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" she said leaning down to pick the books up that had fallen out of their hands.
